Pet Super Market opened on Thursday, August 24, 2017, in the Towne Lake Shopping Center, 1430 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189. A sister Pet Super Market is located at 12185 GA-92, Woodstock, GA 30188. Also preparing for opening in the Towne Lake Shopping Center is a Zoës Kitchen.

$20 Dollar Chiropractic – Towne Lake is now open at 2485 Towne Lake Parkway #106, Woodstock, GA 30189. It becomes the second $20 Dollar Chiropractic in Woodstock.

Sidelines Grille is Hiring

Sidelines Grille‘s newest addition in Woodstock is preparing to open this month and they are hiring. Located at 300 Village Center Drive, Woodstock, Georgia, off of Highway 92 in the location of the former Hello Again Family Restaurant and Bar. Additionally, the Wingstop Woodstock Highway 92, 9745 Highway 92 Ste F, Woodstock, GA 30188, opened Aug. 10, 2017, in the location of the former Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint.

New Logo, New Website

The City of Woodstock unveiled a new logo this past week, replacing one that had been in use for 30 years. And then this week they launched their new website, making navigation on a phone or table a much more enjoyable experience. Feeling Kinda Blue

The Sunoco gas station on Bells Ferry Road near Hwy 92 in Woodstock has been shut down and the signage has been covered in blue paint. We don’t know at this time what the plans are for the site, but the site of the old Red Barn Mobile Home Park behind it is getting ready to open as a new assisted living facility.

‘S’Long, Jason

We were sad to see Jason’s Automotive close down at 802 Bascomb Commercial Pkwy in Woodstock, and basically disappear in the middle of the night. We’ve used them for a few automotive issues over the years and they seemed like honest people. Whenever we think of the name Jason, we think of this famous Jason and the Argonauts skeleton fight scene from the 1963 movie “Jason and the Argonauts”. The animation by Ray Harryhausen was always phenomenal in the pre-computer generated animation era.
